If you like hot and dry with minimal chances for rain, this forecast is for you.
The dryline will fire storms in the Texas panhandle and then try to move into the western parts of the state over the weekend. A better chance for rain is on the 7 day forecast…stay tuned for that.
A little weather history for you:
On this date in 1987, five days of flooding commenced in Oklahoma. Thunderstorms produced 7 to 9 inches of rain in central Oklahoma. Oklahoma City reported 4.33 inches of rain in six hours.
Have a great and SAFE weekend everyone!!
