If you are a true weather nut…er…fan, then you probably won’t enjoy the next several days. Why? Nothing happening. Now that’s not a bad thing for me. Quiet weather equals normal length work days…and I like that.
As a kid I wanted a snow storm every week. Of course the weather does not work that way. Quiet periods of weather are common, even in a busy winter. Well, we’re in store for about a week of quiet weather, maybe longer.
The next few days will feature a gradual warm up with no rain or snow. Highs tomorrow will be in the 40s, and then into the 60s Wednesday through Friday. The next cold front arrives late Friday, but all that will do is cool us off into the 40s for Saturday.
Coincidentally, weather fan Margaret just called me and told me she likes active weather because it forces her to stay inside and “get work done”. Unfortunately for her, no work will be done as the weather will be good for outside fun with those 60 degree temps later this week.
Don’t give up hope for a good snow or sleet storm this year. Remember winter only started about two weeks ago and plenty of meteorological monkey business could be in our future. Time will tell.
