Is this a sign that change is in the air? Record highs BELOW 100°? The record high today is only 99°. That’s right..only 99°! The last time we had a record high of 99° was all the way back on June 5th. So, when is getting over 100° really hard to do? The last 100° record high is September 30th. Still 3 weeks left folks…

It did not feel like 99 to me today. I thought we will be in the 80s for a while?
Jesse, it wasn’t 99 degrees nor did we ever say it would be. The record high means that this is the hottest temperature that was ever recorded for that day. Our highs were only in the 80s. This blog post was just to show that we have never reached over 99 degrees on this date. An amazing stat when you think it’s still summer.
