Is This Alex?

I know we may not have any ocean beaches here in Oklahoma. But, anytime we see a storm system move into The Gulf of Mexico, we immediately become concerned. Once you’re in The Gulf, you have no where else to go but on shore. The National Hurricane Center is becoming increasingly concerned about this disturbance I have circled above as having the potential to form into something over the next few days. Even the weather models are starting to hint at something. With high pressure across The Southern Plains (read blog below), it appears that the track of this disturbance, or if it should strengthen, would stay well south, across The Yucatan Peninsula and into Mexico. This track would keep it a good thousand miles or so south of The Deepwater Horizon oil spill.
