Tropical Storm Colin…But Not For Long

Tropical Storm Colin has been barely holding on.  This storm will continue to move closer to an unfavorable environment for development.  Strong upper level winds will weaken the storm but if it does hold together it may still get far enough west where it could restrengthen or at least remain a Tropical Depression.  The likelihood of this becoming a hurricane is very low.  A tropical Depression is a relatively weak storm but it can still kick up waves along the East coast and increase the likelihood of rip currents in that area as well.  Here is a look at the expected track of that Low.  If you are headed to the East coast beaches this weekend, this may be of interest to you.
