The Latest On 2 Storms In The Atlantic

We now have two storms of note in the Atlantic: Hurricane Danielle, and Tropical Storm Earl.  Both of these storms are a long way from the United States, but they could become major hurricanes.  Here’s the latest on Danielle:

You can see that Danielle will likely stay east of Bermuda, and will pose no threat to the United States.

Earl is still a tropical storm, but is expected to strengthen into a hurricane in the coming days.  Here is the expected track:

This track is farther south than Danielle, but even by Monday, the storm is still well to the east of the U.S.  Long range computer models do re-curve this storm well before it reaches the East Coast, but there’s a lot of time for things to change.
