Weather Unfolding…

This is a snapshot of the radar just after 8:00am this Wednesday morning.  Rain has been ongoing in southern Oklahoma and rain totals are near an inch already in those areas.

Here is a breakdown of the time line.  Most areas will see rain throughout the day.  The best chance to see the heaviest rain will likely be into the afternoon and evening hours coinciding with when the actual circulation from Hermine crosses over the state.

Flood watches are in effect for a good portion of the state.

There is also a slight risk for severe weather.   It is not out of the question to see a weak, short-lived tornado. Wind gusts in excess of 60mph possible as well.

I have drawn a swath of where there MAY be 5 inches plus across central Oklahoma but most of us will see 2-4 inches.
