Photo of the Day!

I have spent most of my day staring at the thermometer next to me, which was reading about 73 degrees 2 hours ago. But, sometimes I need to remember that not everyone is seeing the warmth. In this case, I only had to head west, to The Wasatch Range of Utah. This picture was taken at Snowbird SKi Resort where a winter weather advisory is in effect. The interesting thing is that in Utah, a winter weather advisory is issued when 6-12 inches of snow are in the forecast! That’s right, a foot of snow only gets a winter weather advisory. Why? Because people are used to that and are able to handle that much snow. Here in Oklahoma, a winter weather advisory would be issued for just an inch or two of snow. Either or… think about this picture, then look outside.. what would you rather drive in?
