Late Week Snow Chance?

If you read the blog yesterday, then you’re aware of how we have been watching the models for a possible chance of snow in The Oklahoma Panhandle. Sadly, if you were looking for some snow, then you may have to wait for some other storm complex. Because, this one is showing signs that warmer air may win the battle over cold.

It looks like temperature may be able to cool down into the mid 30s for a short while on Friday afternoon in The Panhandle, but by then, the storm will have started pulling moisture away from the area. So, I am removing the snow chance for Beaver,Texas and Cimarron Counties and will just barely put in a chance of a light wintry mix.

As for the rest of Oklahoma, we could see a good soaking rainfall out of this (for November standards) with some areas receiving as much as an inch here and there. Widespread half an inch reports are a possibility.
