Oklahoma Drought Latest

The rainfall that was received about 10 days ago was tabulated into the last drought monitor and has shown some improvement, but not a whole lot. 51.7% of the state is not reporting any drought, a small improvement from last week when 50.1% of the state had drought conditions being reported. If there are any improvements to this map over the next few days, it will likely be from Eastern Oklahoma where slight rain chances are in the forecast this week. A moderate drought remains in effect for 3.1% of the state, just north of downtown Oklahoma City, stretching east into Lincoln County.
