Tuesday Snow

First things first. THERE WILL BE SCHOOL TOMORROW! Kids, do your homework! What we’re tracking below is just the chance of snow. The entire state will see a small chance for a rain/snow mix. But, for those anxious to see some fat flakes falling from the sky, then here is where you need to go.

A weak passing system will move south of Oklahoma City, mainly along The Red River and generate enough lift with it, and moisture that some light snow may fall across Northern Oklahoma and into Eastern Oklahoma. The current thinking is that any snow that does fall, would likely happen late in the day, and at night, when temperatures are already starting to drop. Accumulations, if any would be on the grass, mulch, cars. But, with highs in the 40s that day, and the snow falling lightly, anything that falls to the pavement will have a hard time sticking. So, yes kids, and college students… continue with your final exam studying!
