Christmas Travel

In about a week or so, many of us will be hitting the roads, or the airways. So, what can you expect? Well, if your plans are to travel on either the 23rd or the 24th, then going off of the GFS model, this is what you can expect.

I don’t see any of the airport being influenced by the snow, but closer to Christmas day, a powerful storm may move onshore and could stay to bring in some serious road delays and airport delays for The Rocky Mountains. For the east coast, not much to find other than a few snow showers.

The only potential for airport delays that I see could be in Minneapolis where snow may lead to a few delays, but nothing too significant at this time.

  1. I guess it’s gonna be a snowy Christmas this year. Hopefully I don;t get hung up at the airport.
