Get Ready for some COLD Football!

Earlier in the week, The Metrodome in Minneapolis was damaged to the point that games could not be played there. And, it couldn’t have happened at a worse time as The Vikings were scheduled to play a Monday Night Football game next week. Some cities offered to loan their stadiums, mostly indoors, but The Vikings are now ready to play their scheduled game… at the end of December, get this… OUTSIDE. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist, or a meteorologist to tell you that Minnesota can be brutal at the end of the year… and fans (and players) are about to get a taste of what outside football in Minnesota feels like.

Yep, kick off temperatures will be approaching single digits, and winds around 20 mph will drop those wind chills well below zero. The Vikings have been begging for a new stadium, this game right here may determine whether the next stadium is another dome.. or… outdoors.
