Welcome to the day where the sun is directly over The Tropic of Capricorn. (i.e. The Winter Solstice). On this day, Oklahoma City will experience 9 hours, 45 minutes and 32 seconds of daylight, making it the shortest day of the entire year. Starting tomorrow, the day will be 4 seconds longer, and this trend will continue all the way until June 21st when Oklahoma City will experience 14 hours, 33 minutes and 31 seconds of daylight. (i.e. The Summer Solstice). Sweeeet!
