Quick Afternoon Update

The models continue to trend to mainly a rain event here in Oklahoma tonight through tomorrow.  The colder air and the snow will remain to our north in eastern Kansas and Missouri.  Winter Weather Advisories have already been posted for those areas.  Snow amounts will be in the range of 2-4 inches, so if you are travelling northeast toward St. Louis, you may encounter some slick travel.

Our rain does not look heavy.  Most of it should be pretty light with accumulations of a half-inch or less across the state.  The rain will end from west to east during the day tomorrow, with the OKC area drying out by mid afternoon.

Christmas Day still looks cold and dry with sunshine and highs in the 30s.

  1. I was at work and it was light wintry mix, but I kept waiting and waiting and waiting for it to change to all snow and heavier….but nothing. 😦 I’m sad. Really, I am not a happy bunny.
