A Surge of Tornadoes

It’s a season that can sneak up on you, and that is “mini tornado season”. Yes, the fall time can produce tornadoes, but it’s usually hit and miss. This past fall however was not a miss. Look at the reports above. That’s right, every single month saw anywhere from a 200% increase to as much as an 800% jump in the 3 year average. Fortunately for Oklahoma, we went “tornadoless” during the fall season. But to see a stat like this is mind blowing. Especially for the month of November, whose 3 year average is only 8 tornado reports. When the month ended, it had counted 63 tornadoes. Yes, that is a surge in tornado reports.
