Farewell Winter..

Winter is officially over and spring has arrived. And while the information is still be tabulated on how temperatures did this winter, preliminary reports expect it to look something like this for Oklahoma City.

Temperatures for the entire season were slightly above normal, with most of the above normal readings occurring in March. 1.2 degrees above normal may not sound too bad, which in reality, it’s really not. But, the fact that we had all-time record cold hit the state during February just goes to show you how much of a temperature swing we experienced this past season. Oklahoma City’s coldest low this season came in on February 10th when we hit 5 below zero and our warmest high came just a few days ago when we hit 88 degrees. A temperature swing for the season of 93 degrees.Wowzers!
