Tornado Threat Returns Tuesday

After a few quiet days, it appears that the tornado risk is returning to the forecast for Tuesday afternoon as we track our next storm system across The United States. And while the rain threat for most of Oklahoma doesn’t appear to be all that high, there is the chance that some storms may go severe and those that do get rain, could get a good downpour.

Thus, a MODERATE RISK for severe weather has been issued, though it is well east of here. If storms do develop, it wouldn’t be until later into the afternoon and could last into the late night hours as storms try to backbuild west.We will be on the lookout again for hail, tornadoes and damaging winds. Officially, Oklahoma City is not under the slight risk.
