Rounding 2nd Base…

We are now midway through the month of May (still without a tornado for the month btw) and while the severe weather has been rather quiet, there have been other aspects of the month that haven’t been. How so? How about our crazy temperature swings.

The beginning of the month started cold, and I mean..cold! (Yes, the high temperature on the 1st was 62°, but that came in early in the morning, temperatures dropped all day). Anyways, it was a cold start to the month followed by a quick warm up by the 7th-10th and then a steady drop in temperatures with many areas in the 30s for morning lows even this past weekend.

So, the severe weather show has been quiet, but the temperature show has not been. So, where do we stand now with all this?

Our temperatures are now below normal, (and so is the rain). Let’s hope it stays this way! Chances are, givin the outlook, we mays ee temperatures for the month stay below normal. Keep your fingers crossed.
