The June that Never Was…

It’s been hot, we know that here in Oklahoma City. And, while some may love the warm weather, you may be singing a different tune come July and August. That is, if this June is trying to tell us something.

It’s one thing to say that you’re 7 degrees above normal in March, it’s completely different to say it during the last week of spring. Check it out, every single day this month has seen a high temperature of 90 degrees or above. (Compare that to the average high temperature of about 83-86 degrees). That is warm, and it’s likely here to stay!

With high pressure moving across the Southern tier of The United States, our weather will likely above normal with our daytime highs. There could be some relief late Wednesday as a cold front moves in that could cool things down some in Northern Oklahoma. But, OKC itself may still remain on the warm side, with highs still in the 90s. October anyone?
