Witnessing History?

This may be a record that you don’t want to see break, but knowing that you were here when it did could be a story told for centuries to come. It will likely mesh in with the ” I had to walk to school for 5 miles in 3 feet of snow”. For the Gen-X’ers, it will be, ” I was in Oklahoma during the hottest month ever on record”. Our average monthly temperature ( averaging the high and the low together) continues to hold at 89.3°. This is still 1° warmer than the warmest July on record and .6° warmer than the hottest month ever on record which came in August during The Great Depression years.

If you’re still keeping track, there are 154 days left until winter.
