Next Week Severe?

While it’s way to early to go into details on what all may unfold next week, it does appear that we will be undergoing a weather pattern shift across The United States.

This week has rain chances, but the pattern throws out only mini disturbances in this direction. A flow that would favor storms, but the severe threat will be lacking with out any sufficient upper-level support.

Next week however appears to change all that as we notice a sharp dip in the jet-stream with a low dropping south across The Western United States. This would allow for a chance of severe storms to set up across The Central Plains. The best we can say right now is that we could see some severe storms for Monday-Wednesday of next week. As time gets closer, we’ll provide more details.

  1. How much rain are we anticipating next week? I’ve heard of concerns about flooding potential?
